Due to moisture present in the ambient space, you will often see growth of black or greenish organism on the surface of any space that you have. In general, the greenish blackish stains are removed by passing your finger over it but this does not necessarily mean that you will successfully remove the presence of this microorganism. This black and greenish organism is called mold. Mold is a kind of fungus that develops in warm, moist areas of our home. This organism can harbor a lot of disadvantages and aside from destroying the aesthetics of a particular space, a lot of people reported that molds can also cause diseases. Here are some ways on how to fight molds or mold removal and keep it away from your home.

The most common place where they find mold is in the bathroom because it is warmer and more humid than other places in the home. And in the bathroom, the shower area including the roofs, tile joints and shower curtain are where most will notice its presence. To remove mold from plastic surfaces such as shower screens and shower curtains, simply rub the area with water and a strong cleaner such as bleach. We can also scrub the surface with a brush or cloth to completely remove the molds.

For furniture, molds can be removed with a cotton or swab and hydrogen peroxide. Just apply water and let it dry in air. Once done apply hydrogen peroxide and this will create effervescence or bubbles which indicate the molds being killed and is working for mould removal. Remove it by wiping it with bleach or abrasive cleaning powder and a firm bristle brush or a scouring pad made from steel wool. On the various metal surfaces including steel, silver and iron, you can clean the area with a cloth soaked in red wine that will kill mold and will also remove the smell caused by the mold.
